David Singer’s clarinet students have been selected each year for both the Ventura County Honor Band and All State, 2013 to the present.

As a professor of Clarinet at Montclair State University, NJ, (1989 – 2012) David Singer mentored literally hundreds of high school clarinetists each academic year performing clinics, giving lessons and being featured as a guest soloist with high schools throughout the state of New Jersey.

David also recorded a CD performing all of the All State pieces for the purpose of giving every interested and motivated high school clarinetist the opportunity to hear a professional performance of each work.

Not all high school clarinetists can afford private lessons and hearing this CD helped guide, encourage and raise the standards of clarinet auditions throughout the state.

The CD was given to each interested student free of charge.
